Jeremiah:
shoot thats no problem unless they dont like back roads but if we let them get out at cool places they might like it
multnomah falls maybe

or just an adventure

Mom:
Hi,

I got home a little bit ago from Shirley's, I tried to get online this morning to email you from her place but was unable to. Sucked. Anyways, We got the framing for the walls up and made a trip to HD with the littles to pick up a bunch of supplies to run plumbing lines and electrical. We also got a couple of pieces of siding up. It poured rain hard today off and on most of the day. The dogs stayed up on the porch all curled up next to each other. It's kind of challenging to build this room, nothing is straight and the floor of the porch slopes.

Jeremiah:
ohh nice and this is for the bigger laundry room project?
sounds like your off to somewhat of a good start

Mom:
Yeah, for the laundry room. i wish we had gotten more finished. your old PL posted on his blog about geraldo rivera visiting blessing and posted some new pictures, you're in a couple of them. so it was nice to see your face again. i need to send you that ubs memory stick. i asked people to send me photos but so far only amber has. i got look under my bed for it. i'm putting together another box, i forgot to send you tea. i may just take some from work. no-one drinks it and they got rid of the coffee maker a couple weeks ago. its gonna get old just sitting there. love you mom xoxoxox

Jeremiah:
well have andy do it
have some from him that would be good
tell him to get me some pics of home and he should know what to do
just tell him to have other people do it and to make signs for the picture
which is just writing big on a piece of paper and having it in the picture

hmm we have alot of tea unless its like cold brew
mainly i just like the convience of single serve packets

=]

i keep looking at the pictures of the lils that i have now

Mom:
Ya I should get Andy to take some photos. I made him do tons of service requests today. We went over them in the morning and I explained a few things to him and sent him on his way. I feel like I got very little done. Joseph is off this week. I did manage to get a little shocked playing with live wires. It's been a long time since I've managed to shock myself. Tomorrow I have to turn an apartment, besides do Joseph's and Andy's jobs.

Jeremiah:
YEAH MAYBE HE COULD GET HIS OWN SD CARD OR SOMETHING
damn caps

umm yeah or just buy one for him too

but yeah i mean as long as you think he is still doing a good job i hope
im sure he is
something may take longer to catch on then others
maybe i should try to apply again when i come back hahaha

maybe
but yeah
could always use a good painter huh
two years away better start scheming now

btw my boss sgt corona is ordering some candy and such from amazon and they dont ship overseas and his madre dont speak english so he is going to send it to your house and if you could send it here that would be great

ok?

Mom:
Sure no problem, Just send me his name and such and I'll post it for him and his mom. I also need to know when to expect it so I can watch for it.

Jeremiah:
well he doesnt need anything for his mom just needs it sent here and yeah just like a package for me
you can use my name or his

sgt christopher corona

Jeremiah:
where would you ever want to go for a journey

remember when me and you drove to salem for no reason

or did you have a reason

i cant remember
i think i was having a bad day or something
do you remember

Mom:
Yeah, That trip to Salem was so we could just talk about stuff. Salem was just where we ended up. I'm not sure what was wrong, probably something to do with school or wes or whatever. I just remember that you were having a bad day and was depress or mad about something. Sometimes you just need to run. "I just felt like running-Forrest Gump"

One time John and I drove over white pass for no reason at all. I had my little honda accord. I was working at Dominos' and I think it was the first summer after he finished high school. I got off of work about 11 or so and we were just driving around and ended up on the road that starts going over the pass. Drove all the way over to Packwood. Some car flashed its high beams at me and so I flashed them back. Turned out that that car was a cop's car. And it turned around and pulled me over. The cop wanted to know where we were going and John piped up and told him that we were going to see Aunt Pat. It's not like we could tell him that we were just randomly driving around. So he let us go. We turned around at Packwood. On the way back I saw a couple broken down on the road. And I stopped and picked them up and drove them all the way back to Yakima and dropped them off where they lived. Hehe, that was really weird and they fell asleep in the back sit. I wonder if they ever got their car back.

Jeremiah:
yeah i remember that was fun
we are gonna have to do that some more sometime i mean going to seattle is fun but that was with a purpose plus we need to figure out what we are going to do with the lil..s maybe beach and then cabin 18 or something

idk

Mom:
The Littles are game for a drive as long as there's powdered doughnuts and we see a lot of trucks.

10/22/2010

Jeremiah:
hmm thats awesome cuz jalalabad is the closest place listed on here

thats gonna be awesome

Mom:
I guess the weather will depend on how high above sea level you are and moisture content in the air. since your not super close to a large lake or ocean, it may just be super cold with little snow. snow would just make everything wet and muddy. i was wondering if you want me to look for underamour and send it?

Jeremiah:
no no i have all the cold weather gear i need and im right next to a river

and i think are about 3800 above

Mom:
I think you will see mostly cold dry. The river will create fog along it and if there's any roads that run along the river they could be come icy from moist air freezing and landing on the road.

What kind of building to you sleep in? Whats it build of?

Jeremiah:
i recently moved into a concrete building but i was living in a wooden shack type thing

hopefully we get some heaters or something otherwise i was gonna have you send me a small space heater like the one you had in the lower bathroom

Mom:
Ya, just say the word, if I can get it to fit into box I can send it. Atleast a concert building is warmer than the wooden shacks. I wouldn't worry about having stuff there. You could always leave it behind. Maybe even an electric blanket. Do you share your sleeping area with several others? Are you on bunks? Did you nab a top bunk?

Jeremiah:
yeah im in a room with three others

three of us work in the company during the day and there is one night shift guy in there

and i have a bottom bunk cuz the top is storage and yeah
its no biggie

Mom:
If you get really cold you could hang up extra blankets, sheets or even towels and enclose your bunk that way the warmth of your body will stay inside.

Jeremiah:
i would do that if i had any blankets
but i sleep in a sleeping bag
might try to get a couple wool blankets from the aid station
even at campbell i never had any blankets
but that was cuz i didnt want to buy any cuz i was deploying soon
but im bringing my stuff from home when i drive back anyways

Mom:
I just talked to Mike for a bit. He and Gretchen are in North Carolina and headed back to Utah. Yep baby girl has been to the east coast.

Jeremiah:
hmm thats cool

Mom:
yeah, well both my boys and my dog have traveled farther than I have

Jeremiah:
its funny that you meantion east coast cuz i just sent a email to john

jeez well maybe one of these times you should go somewhere if life would ever allow you to

if you ever have a want to at least

but yeah

Mom:
I think it would be great to just get in the car and drive and drive. I don't know though, because at the same time I just want to be home.

Jeremiah:
yeah i know what you mean

well how about you take a lil bit of home with you

like say for instance

me hahaha

Mom:
Oh sure, a journey is much better shared. HAHA

Tue, 19 Oct 2010

Jeremiah:
yeah no doubt idk wtf she is thinking but yeah whatever

hahah shh

Mom:
I'm sitting here trying write you and my head is nodding all around.

James sent me a text this morning asking if I wanted to go to tuscon and build a fence. I was like "oh sure but I have to bring the littles.." I dont know if he was actually serious or not. I don't know if I told you that my Dad lives there and recently purchased 10 acreas east of the city. I dont know though. I think it would be strange to see this old man that was susposed to be my dad that I haven't seen since I was 6.

I just nodded off again. I better get to sleep. I love you and miss you.

Jeremiah:
maybe your just really saying yes hahaha

try writing me when you aint so sleepy sometime
ahahaha

Mom:
Ya, i sent that and rolled over and went right to sleep, lol. now i'm getting ready for work. its cold outside, around 40 degrees. i'm dreading the time change coming up, have to wake up earlier. gonna suck thats for sure..

Mom:
Hehe, i get it, saying yes, hehe. i just posted your boxes, are you starting your own quiki-mart? lol

Jeremiah:
yeah i can imagine
idk how im gonna take the new changes coming up in the eather but i have never had a problem with the winter unless its just a disaster here haha
and yeah i thought that was funny about the yes

no not quite yet i mean inshare a few but a whole lot

Mom:
Ok I found this about the weather, I don't know how understandable it is because its all in metric.

Afghanistan is situated in the interior of Asia, lying on the Iranian Plateau. It is a country land-locked on all sides and surrounded by the rough and rugged Hindu Kush Mountains. Afghanistan has the typical arid to semi-arid climate of the Russian Steppes. Afghanistan Weather is characterized by dry hot cloudless summers and severe winters. The areas lying in the northeastern part of the mountains experience sub-arctic conditions having dry, cold winters.

The Afghanistan weather is marked by great variance in temperatures from region to region. It is accompanied by huge differences in day and night temperatures and summer and winter temperatures. The drought-ridden regions of the southwestern plateau experience daytime temperatures of 35 degree Celsius. Jalalabad is among the hottest places in the country recording the maximum temperature of 49 degree Celsius in the month of July. January temperatures fall to -15°C or below in regions situated at high altitudes in the mountains.

There is a rise in the mean precipitation as one goes from the western side to the eastern side of the mountains, the average being 400mm in the southeastern monsoon areas. Mostly, the precipitation takes place from December to April. Highlands experience snowfall during December-March and the lowlands experience intermittent rainfall from December to May.

Kabul Weather: Kabul is situated at a height of 5900 feet above sea level. Kabul weather is characterized by summer temperatures varying from 16° C at sunrise to 38° C at noon. The average temperature in January is 0°C. Kabul has recorded the lowest temperature of -31 °C. Summers are accompanied with bright sunshine. The average rainfall varies from 25 cm to 30cm. Mostly the precipitation occurs in the form of snow in the winter and spring seasons. The snow stays for three months in Kabul forcing the people to stay indoors and sleep nearer to the kitchen stoves.

Bagram Weather, Kandahar Weather, Herat Weather: At Kandahar, during summer the days are scorching hot and the nights are of no relief either. On the other hand Kabul is at least blessed with cool nights in summer. Herat experiences temperate summer temperatures with violent winds blowing from the northwest during May-September. The winters in heart are not so severe with snow melting as it falls.

Mom:
Hey Fav,

I didn't mail your boxes today, we are doing unit inspections this week so I cant get away long enought to go to post them. I will do it on thursday.

Andy moved into his apartment today. LOL he rented a UHaul and rubbed the carport with it. He called me and was like I'm sorry and I'll pay for it. I asked him if he got the insurance when he rented the truck and he said yes. I told him to give them a call about it. lol He is doing great, he did his first water heater on his own last Saturday. Yes our little boy's got skills.

Is the guy you work with back yet? How did he get out of going on the mission?

Oh I mean Grandma's younger brother, Lynn.

Jeremiah:

oh alright well i hope soon i could use the money

ohh nice well at least he got the truck taken care of
hahaha im glad he got skills
he should do some good there... maybe stay longer than the predicted timeline

yeah he never left he was just in a different element of the mission and i had to do his job but i mean the higher ups are mainly all smiles today except some other people are all fucked up so thats kinda fading the smiles

ohh yeah i dont know if i have ever heard of him

Mom:
F'd up, the guys that got hurt?

I'm hoping Andy will stay 2 years working with me. That's about as long as I could hope for, once he is trained properly he will be ready to move on into a higher level and of course higher pay.

Jeremiah:
no no like the armorist is missing scopes and lasers and night vision hahahaha
nobody else got hurt that i know of
yeah i am hoping so too but i mean im sure he will work there longer espcially since ill be back home and he will move in with me hopefully
should be good for him

money money money money........MONEY

Mom:
I have a love/hate relationship with Money. I can just as easily love it as much as hate it.

Oh you mean f'd up as in making mistakes and leaving their shit around where it can fall into the hands of others.

Jeremiah:
yeah no doubt for me its whatever money is meant to be spent but being smart about spending is what makes it work
its not like money becomes more valueable when you dont spend it
well i mean yeah if there is interest or its not of the current currency

yeah pretty much but i really shouldnt talk about it much more

anne was talking about eventually taking the boys on a month long road trip and i was like yeesh

Mom:
Ann's an idiot. Can you imagine how aweful it would be for them to be stuck in a car for a month with her?

Ok shh shh

Tue, 19 Oct 2010 06:50:42

yeah i mean i know but it was alot of bullshit and yeah im just new and not to used to them so i dont know
still didnt like it i dont see why people have to be unnecessary douche bags

okee dokee cool beans and yes i got the three from before
i thank you

hmm maybe i mean you still breed her but i will have sadie too
and then we talked about cycle breaks with the girls

ohh wow
what do you mean should not be named... i dont know about that one

From Mom, Tue 10/19/10 12:01 AM

Fav,

Oh I'm glad to hear from you, I've missed your emails. I kind of figured you guys where all out somewhere kicking butt. Hopefully those couple of guys that got hit are doing okay. I think you should know that the higher ups will probably always be like that in that kind of circumstance. They have to plan all these missions out and when things don't got the way they think it should, they are going to do a lot of yelling. They have screaming bosses too. 350million of them. I'm glad to hear your okay.

I packed up your boxes tonight and will post them tomorrow. The bills are divided between the two boxes and inside the starburst bags. Did you get all three boxes from last time? I just send you a bunch of pictures from my phone.

Mike told me tonight that I should give you Gretchen when your home for good. I dont know about giving her though since you pretty much claimed her from the beginning. =)

Yeah, that's about it. Oh wait I forgot, Jamie is pregnant I guess and she is going to have a girl sometime in the future. I don't know when she is due but Granny says she picked out Jamye as her name. Jerry's grand-daughter Jenny is also pregnant again, she already has a little boy named Patrick. That will make 8 Great Great grand kids for Grandpa Mobley that I know of. I hope Mike dont turn out like Granny's younger brother "his name who must not be mentioned" and have 17 kids. That's alot of child support checks to write out every month. Oh man I just realize that I miss King of the Hill.

I better get to sleep. Love you so much. Mom, XOXOXOX

Mon, 18 Oct 2010 13:41:57

From Mom, Mon 10/18/10 1:53 AM

Fav,

Well we are home again and happy to report to you that we managed to get the laundry room's floor framed, insulated and sheeted. Next weekend we both have Saturday and Sunday off and should be able to get walls up.

G&G went to visit James over night. I hope they had a nice visit. It's kind of funny because when I called him and told him that they wanted to drive up and visit him, he didn't know why they would want to visit since he isn't doing anything. They keep asking Shirley when they can visit too and she wonders the same thing. I know that they are just happy to sit on the couch and just visit with them. They went to see Tammy and her Michael Thurday and Tammy made them red beans and rice.

Ugh it's almost 2am, I better get to bed. I love you and miss you, Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Sat 10/16/10 10:02 PM

Fav,

I placed a bunch of pavers today and have just 21 left in my pile! Then we headed up to Shirley's to spend the night and help clean up puppies tomorrow for puppy people. Hopefully we will be sending a few home. Hope all is well with you. I got the rest of the stuff you asked for, just need to get some cash to send ya. Love ya and take care of yourself. Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Fri 10/15/10 10:18 PM

Fav,

Hope everything is going well. I was wondering how your scar is healing?

The Littles and I went to costco and was able to find most of the stuff on your list. I will go to Freddie's tomorrow and get the rest.

Mike and Gretchen are headed to Memphis, when I last talked to him they were in Jackson Mississippi.

We are home tomorrow most of the day and will head up to Shirley's late in the day. I have someone coming up to see one of Emma's pups. I hope it is a nice day and we are able to get some work done

Love Mom

October 14th, email conversation

Mom:
Fav,

Okay I'll pick you up some Tooties, maybe a Halloween mix bag. I will see what is available at Costco. Do you need anything like toothpaste, deordorant?

That's great that your liking your new job and you're working with someone you can get along with.

Grettle's puppies are now down to 13, the last of the three black boys died today. Shirley lost one of the older beagle puppies today also. It's been a sad day for her.

I've read Stars and Stripes before, I look stuff up on it every once in a while.

Ann is going to take the boys to the DR. again. I don't know if she figured out their medical coverage or not yet. I asked her and she said that she will just sign a paper, ie a promisary note, saying that she wil pay for it. I told her that she could always go down the the health department and get their vaccinations done there and just pay for the cost of the vaccine. I did that before when Mike needed a measles booster before going into 5th grade. It was less than $20.

Well I'm gonna try to get to sleep earlier tonight, Ann is coming over early to pick up the boys. I love and miss you. Mom, XOXOXOX

Jeremiah:
yeah that works and toothpaste
im good on other hygene

yeah i think it is awesome i mean we were having giggle fits all day yesterday and got threatened with u.a.'s a couple of times but i dont think the people were being serious hahaha
yesterday was a good day

thats sad... im sorry for her
i mean i hate to say its what comes with the deal but it kinda is... unfortuantely nt every single one can make it to complete cuteness

hmm well whatever as long as you dont have to pay for it im whatever about it

Mom:
Fav,

I get to write you a few hours earlier than normal tonight. Ann was able to get the littles back on medical. So Cubby got three shots and a oral vaccination. So buy the time I get them after work he had a fever and sore legs. I cuddled him for a little bit and he fell asleep. Then Teddy and I was going to eat soup and I gave him two spoons and he laid back and eyes got all droopy and he was out. Then I was stuck with soup that I didn't really want.

The littles are going to G&G's in the afternoon tomorrow instead of in the morning and I will pick them up after work. Then we will head over to Costco and see how much stuff from your list that we can find there.

That's funny, gigglings. We call one of the leasing agents Giggles. Cause she giggles alot. One time we were in the office talking about stuff and Giggles and I started doing the church giggles. Fun stuff.

I expected that Shirley would lose puppies with a littler that size, but it's still sad. I told Shirley that I think I will put a slogon on my wesite site saying something like "We only breed cute puppies". LOL.

I better get busy, I need to get a couple ads in tonight. Love you. Mom, XOXOXOX

Jeremiah:
hmm thats nice
and funny that he just fell asleep like that i hope cubby's fever goes away tomorrow when he is at gamma's and gampas

hahaha yeah it was funny we were just have a good day i dont know where it started
but im glad that me and him can get along that well since he is a sgt and almost a ssg

hmm really i wonder if i have seen her before
that would be a great slogan

or

bringing cuteness to the world one litter at a time

Mom:
You probably have seen her, she has been working in the office since early last spring. Cute thin dark hair, kind of shy (which is why she giggles). She replaced Sherri the girl with tatooes all over. That's a great Slodag ideal. Shirley and I are thinking of starting our own Kennel Club. I think I told you that before.

Jeremiah:
hmm maybe i liked the girl with tattoos.... hmm

how old is she hmmm???

slodag?

no this is the first i have heard of the kennel club

Mom:
slodan, sorry was trying to reply fast.

The girl with the tatoos Sherri got married a year ago to a guy in the ARMY. I liked her too, she had a great sense of humor. Now she is an assistant manager at a high rise in portland.

Shirley and I were talking about it one day about how we have a group of breeders that we've breed dogs to or given advise and stuff and how we all have the same views about breeding and think the CKC (Conteintal Kennel Club) is a joke and AKC is a bunch of backward snobs. I said we should come up with a name and a Logo to put on Our websites so it looks offical.

Jeremiah:
slodan? still confused about that

yeah and she was pretty hahahaha

hmm...
how about BUM

breeders of unique muts

hahahaha
you still didnt answer how old giggles is

Mom:
Oh, sorry, Giggles looks like she is 20 but is 29. She has a daughter that I think is old enough to go to school. She was making goo goo eyes about one of the guys that came to do some work on the property from corperate and the office manager hooked them up and a week later they were like engaged. Sickening.--

Jeremiah:
ahhhhhh abort abort abort
code orange i say again code orange
clinger clinger clinger hahahahahaha

wow

no doubt that is sickening
like i feel behind the loop in my generation
people being in relationships and some have kids and some are married

it is wierd

Mom:
I don't believe in marriage unless its for a good reason, I know that sounds weird. But so many marriages end in divorce, it's better not to legally tie yourself up financially to another person. Just think how bad it would be if Mike ever got married. I don't think that he is ready for marriage to anyone at this point in his life.

Jeremiah:
yeah no doubt and you do have experience in that field i dont know why mike gets offended when we all try to give him avice but what can we do
guess he will just have to learn on his own and deal with all the i told ya so's

i dont know when and if ill ever get married but i would want to wait about 2-5 years before i got married

i mean i would want to wait a while besides i mean to me its just a court signed paper
i dont need that to make me and a woman together

Mom:
I think that Mike sometimes feels like everyone is ganging up on him regarding Ann and even though he may agree with us reguard her, he wants his decisions to be his own.

She's been irratating him today, started her crazy talk about moving to Oregon again. Like that would make things better for her. You know what will make things better for her? Getting off her butt and walking out the door and finding a job. I told her several times that she needs to take care of herself and stop relying on others to pay her way. I don't care if she moves as long as she don't expect anything from us. I'm not making any special concessions for her and driving the littles back and forth to see her if she moves again. I think that Mike and Ann can and should be friends but nothing more. When James married Kelin, everyone was always talking about how stupid she was. Hard for anyone to respect an idiot. You shouldn't tie yourself to someone that doesn't have the same intelligence level that you have. Remember that person may one day be helping you raise your children. Stupid people have stupid kids.

Waiting is good, except sometimes you can wait to long. I know of people that were just domestic partners for several years and then finally get married and then realize that getting married was a bad idea. Next thing you know they're divorced.

Jeremiah:
yeah i mean i dont want to hate on my brother but i wish that we had equally distributed moral properties hahahaha

ohh jeez she is always doing that i dont know what that is i mean is there some great lay that is always availiabe to her
does she have her month long or so period here and then go there

yeah i mean i just dont know
i have no problem with waiting a while i mean i wanna start on that conquest when i get out i dont wanna army type digger
i never really knew kelin from what i can remember but yeah

mike isnt stupid he just .... idk

i just care for my brother alot and i have seen him with a broken heart before
i dont want that again

i wish things wouldnt get so bad sometimes when i am around
i feel like my use could be better at home

Tue, 12 Oct 2010 23:19:59

My Fav,

Wow that's some list. Are you ready for chocolate yet? Or cookies?

You already have an affect on the littles, they talk about you as much and they do their daddy and mommy. Music is great, I do enjoy most forms.

I don't know why you would be impressed, most of the time we don't get much accomplished.

Yeah, you're half way done. So great and exciting. I hope it passes fast too.

Tonight they are pulling trapped miners out of the mine in Chille, they were trapped for 69 days. They actually look pretty good for being stuck for so long, it was weeks after the collaspe before they even found out that these guys were even alive.

Miss you bunches and bunches. Love Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Tue 10/12/10 12:23 AM

Fav,

I agree, puppies are fun to watch at play, I texted Shirley today to see what she was doing on her day off and that's what she was doing. She has been having to bottle feed Grettle's puppies to make sure everyone is eating. Daisy ended up foster a couple of them. Daisy still has 2 of her own to feed. 2 of the littlest ones didn't make it. They were just too small and weak. I kind of have a theory on puppies. When dogs get stuck, male's semen wait in place in the uterus walls for the eggs to get released. When the eggs are released they space themselves along the female dog's u-shaped uterus and then the semen activate and start fertilizing. The eggs closest to the cervix get fertilized first and start developing. The eggs farthest away get fertilized last and could then end up a couple days behind in development. So when the pups are born the first ones out are usually the largest pups and they start eating right away. The last few puppies born are usually the smallest pups and have to then fight with the bigger pups who already figured out the whole feeding thing, so they take longer to figure out how to latch onto mom all the while the bigger pups are pushing them out of the way.

Gretchen and Mike are now headed to Houston. Gretchen is finally settling in and ate her food for the first time and is doing the potty thing on the leash now. Mike says that she really loves sitting in the co-pilot seat and looking out the window while they drive down the road and she helps him wake up in the "morning".

I would rather the littles be country hicks than urban punks. and I agree that your hat is better. His doesn't even come close, I mean it's not even camo for goodness sake. Nothing is truely cool unless it is camo.

Well I better get to sleep, I love you. Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Mon 10/11/10 12:57 AM

Fav,

So I had no shows today and still have both puppies. Oh Well. At least the house is clean now and I had a nice weekend at home with the littles. Pony wont leave the little pup alone when I take the dogs out, which results in neither going potty like they are suppose to be. We are having fun with the puppy, its' been six months since we've had a puppy this size. She is a sweetie too. OK, maybe not all the time because I just had to stop typing and stop her from pooing on my bed. HEHE.

I'm not worried about schools for the littles. I'm not a big fan of the BG school district anyways. Did you move your ruck yet? Mike's been wearing the same bottle opening cap for a couple years now.

I better get to sleep. I'm not looking forward to the time switch. I hate adjusting. I love you and miss you bunches and bunches. Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Sun 10/10/10 12:46 AM

Hi Fav,

I just got back home from driving up to Shirley's to get Gretchen's last girl. Hopefully the lady that I retrieved her for will think she is great and awesome. The littles are in their beds giggling because a Mylar Balloon is floating on their ceiling and every once in a while it gets caught up in the ceiling fan and gets a good whacking by the fan blades. They think it's hilarious.

The hat I see in that photo with you guys and Grizz looks like a ball cap, there are other photos where boonies are laying around. I bet it's badass. I understood totally how you felt in school. I believe that there are good teachers and mediocre teachers. The good teachers can motivate their whole class no matter if the students learn easily or have to work at it. It's really too bad that there are alot more teachers that are unable to inspire. Delipin's for sale sign says sale pending on it, I wonder if they found a good buyer.

Maybe when I move I'll hire a cleaner. =-O It's too much of a hassel to pack, move shit, and unpack, much less try to clean.

Take care of yourself. Love Mom, XOXOXOX

10/9/2010 8:34:11 AM

hmm no i dont think i ever knew that about amber

yeah well thats good one of these times i will have to go in with you to meet her and let her know that this guy is back in town hahahahahaha

yeah i mean it is a pretty badass hat but i like different styles...
so i think it would suit mike more
plus its been to war how much more badass can it get hahahaha
it is cool if you look at the pic with all of us around grizz there are a couple hats and there all the same

Hey Fav,

I don't know if you remember it, but Amber did Kindergarten twice and Shirley didn't enroll Levi until he was 6, which was good because he would have been a young 5 yr old if he went that year he turned 5 cause his birthday is in August. I don't think Mike was ready either, Mike had a bad start to every year until he went into 4th grade. Teddy is so like Mike that I'm thinking it would be better to start him latter when he has another year to mature.

Gretchen is having fun with Mike. Did you see her face in the picture I sent? Mike is getting a great traveling companion. Not only that, Gretchen helped Mike wake up in time today. He has a couple different alarm clocks and when they went off she jumped up and woke him up. Hehe.

Wes is pretending to clean. I told him five days ago that he needed to get everything cleaned up because someone is coming to look at Pony Saturday. It's now 11pm Friday. Sigh. He is wasting time. He should be down stairs cleaning the living room and then the kitchen because that's where the people see the dogs at, but he is up here "cleaning the hallway".

I picked out our Vet just for Sadie, most of the time we go in for some reason we see her. She is great and so good with all the dogs. There is a vet tech there that Sadie likes also, she must find him non-threatening for something to like being next to him without straining away from him.

Mike will think your hat is cool. Multi Cam sounds awesome.

I'm going to go to sleep. I love you, Mom, XOXOXOX

Fri, 8 Oct 2010 06:40:03

yeah that would be pretty cool i was gonna ask that but i didnt know if the age would add up but yeah

damn i still cnt believe you gave him my babygirl =/ ohh well i know she is going to love it i miss all the dogs i cant wait to be back home
yeah i might see if he would give me a ride back home if the timing worked ya know just to chill and hang out
plus i need to see him to give him my platoon hat when i get done with this deployment
i think he would like that and he could show it off to all of his trucker buddies

plus its multicam =]

thats so sad almost as bad as parvo i mean thats just too bad
glad to hear that grettle was doing ok

you guys get pretty close with your local vets huh

hopefully i will to for sadies ear cleanings when i buy your house hahaha
im still pretty pumped about that
that just seems like a huge step to me
i mean a house a car and college

boom hahahaha

the new job is ok i really just started today because im in commo now
which is a step up from rto

but yeah
my sgt is waaayyyy chill
we get along pretty well actually

From Mom, Fri 10/08/10 12:09 AM

Actually I'm thinking of starting them both in Kindergarten the same year.

Well Mike and Gretchen is headed to Missouri. She was a little skittish around Mike, that's Dillons fault. I know he does this quick side step thing at the dogs to make them jump. I yelled at him for doing that to Sadie one time. He can be a real ass sometimes. Gretchen will soon realize that Mike won't do that with her. She is gonna really like being with him and Mike is gonna like having her around for company. I climbed up in Mikes truck and looked around in it. There is a lot more room in there then his first truck. I gave him a couple of sheets to put on the passenger seat and the floor in front of the seat. I have a feeling she use both. The seat is a little small to lay on and there's a small window in the door at floor level where she can lay down there and look out the window at the same time. Actually I think I'm jealous. It's about 4 feet up to get in the truck and she jumped it just fine.

Tonight Shirley has puppies coming out of two dogs. Both Daisy and Grettle. I told her last night when I went to pick up Gretchen that they would have them at the same time. Daisy didn't do so good. She had the first two before Amber left for work and before Shirley got home from work and they were both dead and still in their sacks. The third was born after Amber left and before Shirley got home and it was cleaned up but dead, Shirley took Daisy to the vet and they x-rayed her and Shirley had them give Daisy shots that will induce labor. She took her back home and she had three more, the first one lived for only a couple hours. I don't know how the others are right now. Grettle was doing okay and had 5 pups the last time I heard.

I better get to bed, I hope you are doing well in your new job and are enjoying yourself. Love you lots Mom, XOXOXOX

Thu, 7 Oct 2010 19:47:17

yeah im sure are they old enough to do that like is one in pre school and the other in kindergarden hahha

i miss gretching she was always so mcuh fun to have around ... her and her smile =]
well thats good that he got his job back but i think he might have to start looking for something else he said he wanted to go more local or something so i dont see why he just doesnt do that... there are plenty of places that could need a truck driver...

i need a vacation too

From Mom, Thu 10/07/10 10:38 AM

Fav, at work again. i went and got gretchen last night. she enjoyed the ride home. hopped right up into her old crate when we got home. mike finally talked to his driver-manager forrest and he looked into the whole thing and said he didnt see a problem, so mike is getting back out in the morning. i'm going to stop and make a collar tag that has his number on it. she still has the one that has mine on it. i still gotta give her a bath. i'm tired. i need a vacation and sleep for three days straight. =) i'm taking the week of thanksgiving off. like usual. when the littles start school i will take x-mas week off. i'm thinking of starting them in school at the same time. it will be easier to keep them on the same schedule together. it will help teddy the most, he will be older and more capable of dealing with the separation of school. mike always had a bad start to every year. you were more ready than he was to start. those school bus backpacks were awesome. Love Mom

10/7/2010 2:53:32 AM

yeah im pretty sure she is sending me a box but yeah i have been waiting for you boxes here too and no sign of them yet

i really just dont know about mike and anne but its whatever

i will have to move all my stuff but not yet
and no i dont think it changed at all
that would be awesome to get custody of the boys... then i could see them all the time hahahah

he is trying to say what the hell i believe but when i say deuces it means peace because in a peace sign you hold up two fingers...
therefore the deuce

wow well i thought he was getting his own truck tho like wth well im sure it wont be too hard for him to find a job around he has been with them for like a year and some change right i remember when he started i was in basic hahha
i was so glad to hear that he had gotten a job

From Mom, Wed, 6 Oct 2010 00:44:48

Hi,

I think she is sending you a letter or a box. You should be getting the stuff I sent you soon. I hope, did your address change when you changed jobs?

By Anne do you mean the little's mom Ann? She is not the smartest knife in the drawer. I sometimes wonder whats going on in their minds. I mean do they think we are just going to one day hand the littles back over to them? What if they really actually get married? I just don't see the point of them getting married. What if she gets knocked up again. In December I'm going to file the petition for non-parental custody. I've been waiting until they've been in our home for 6 months straight.

Did you have to move your gear to a new place? What kind of stuff are you doing now? The littles have a balloon and it's floating around in their room, every once in a while it gets hit by the ceiling fan and bounces around until it gets stuck in a corner again. Right now it's bouncing around in the dark. I cut Sadie's hair tonight. She is such a good girl.

Well I better get to sleep. I love you and miss you. Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Wed 10/06/10 11:10 AM

Hi, so when stewie says what the duece, is he meaning what the shit? just wondering, when you say dueces, it means peace or peace out, right? 12 hr days is a long day, i bet you just want to see at every opportunity. mike is in town, he is having some issues with his job. i guess he was getting unloaded and it took way to long so he got a service failure because he couldnt delivery the load on time. its his 3rd one and that means he gets canned. but since it was a unloading delay he shouldnt have gotten a service failure. so he's been trying to find out all morning if he still gots a job or not. his manager is looking into it right now. Mike was meant to be a trucker, he really loves it. even when stuff like this happens he is right in there trying to get everything all straighten out. i'm going to send gretchen on the road with him, to keep him company until his puppy is old enough to go with him. i'm also going to bring emma home for a visit. i dont want either of them to go into heat early and get stuck before we know whats going on. its hiedi's turn to go up there anyways and get stuck to dutch. =) i better get back to work, i was jsut thinking about you and thought i would write. love mom

From Mom, Mon 10/04/10 11:03 PM

Fav,

That's great that you are with HQ now and still get to be RTO. Now, not only do you get to know what's happening with 3rd platoon you get to know what's going on with 1st and 2nd. =)

I can understand that you want a bike and stuff and that they do get excellent gas mileage and they're convenient to drive around. But they are not always good to be on 100% of the time. I think its better to get your car first. Even after you get that you should still try to save money because if you want to go to school and not have to work you should have some savings for emergencies.

We are all tired today, Teddy felt a little warm tonight. I hope he isn't coming down with anything. I better get to bed. I love you and think about you all the time. Take care. Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Mon 10/04/10 8:19 PM

Hey, Paige called me tonight to check on your address. Said that she was sorry that she keeps missing your phone calls. I guess you keep calling her when she is in school or at work. I told her that you should call her earlier like 6am lol. You'd have better luck reaching her at that time.

Mon, 4 Oct 2010 19:30:44

yeah idk i mean every one here has been talking about a bike and i just got to a deep thinking after i sent that and it just totally goes against my main goal to save as much as i can rom this deployment

i dont know if i will get one but if i do i think i will wait to see how much my tax return is

yeah i heard something about that but wasnt sure

so im not in 3rd platoon anymore
im in headquarters now im the co's new gunner/rto

i work for the company commo as well

lot more responsibility but alot more opportunity

From Mom, Mon 10/04/10 1:17 AM

I don't know how you can purchase something like a motorcycle or something similar without seeing it in person. I think you should wait, that's my opinion. I know you get impatient about something when you are thinking about it.

I don't know if we got much done today or not. Just basically cleaned house and puppies and sent a few on their way. Fed the chickens and puttered around a little bit with the back porch. We started on the framing for the floor for the laundry room, it's kind of hard to figure out a reference point to make it square and level. We got back home about midnight.

The news is warning Americans in Europe to be careful because they expect some kind of Taliban attack. I guess bid ladin release a new tape last week and it is being analyzed to see if it is really him.

I better get to sleep, I'm nodding off. I love you and miss you bunches and bunches. Mom, XOXOXOX

From Mom, Sat 10/02/10 11:51 PM

Hi Fav,

G&G took the littles and me to FP's today. It was great, everybody was there. Cubby walks in like he owns the joint. Waving and talking to every table till we get to ours. He is so much like you, like a twin you never had. Knows everyone and everyone likes him. I'm pretty sure that soon he will be saying everyone's name and shaking hands as we go past.

After that we spent the afternoon working in the back yard. The littles road their bikes around, the dogs rolled around in the garden grass, and I cleaned up dog poo and dug up weeds and got an area ready for pavers. I actually placed about 25 down in their spots. Then we packed up stuff and headed to Shirley's place. She worked day shift today after working swing shift last night. She is on days now, 4 on 2 off. That means that she won't always have the same days off any more, I had to put her days off in my phones calendar so I can keep track. Some weekends she will work, some she'll have 1 day off with me, and some both days off. It's gonna slow us down a little bit. Amber gave her notice for job and she is going to start working where Shirley is. When she gave notice, the woman wasn't very nice about it and I guess she said some things that made Amber cry. Doesn't that just make you want to slap that woman? Amber is so sweet and nice to everyone, she doesn't deserve to be treated that way.

I want you to always remember that when you are working for a company, no matter if it is larger or small. All that that business is concerned about is the bottom line, i.e. profits. A company has no loyalty to it employees. Never bring your home life to work and don't take your work life home, keep them separate. An employer doesn't need to know what you do in your time away from work and no one is really interested in what happens at home unless its about something bad happening to you or your family because it gives them something to gossip about. I didn't tell anyone at work about your appendix surgery except for Andy the day you told me about it because he is your friend and he asks about you and I remembered that he had his taken out also. Then two weeks after it happened I told Joseph. I said that the army should take every one's out before they go overseas to keep from having it done in an emergency.

Jolly has puppies going home tomorrow, which is why I came up tonight, so I can help wash puppies and get them ready to go home. I forgot to bring my camera along again. I got Cubby to whistle for me when we were in the backyard today. I tell Bear to whistle and he squeals. hehe.

I love you and miss you all the time. Take good care of yourself. Love Mom, XOXOXOX

Sat, 2 Oct 2010 07:24:26

yeah that is pretty weird but i guess he just figured out how to do it and all hahaha
well darn but okee dokee
im glad they still know me id hate to be a stranger to them i always thought that ava would forget me but she didnt at all
that was awesome to have her remember me and actually have a conversation with me

whatever clothes we are wearing then we throw the body armor on and the helmet

very nice hahahaha i havent watched the flinstones in a while..

From Mom, Sat 10/02/10 6:18 AM

Fav,

I don't know how Cubby learned to whistle. Everyone whisltes around him. I can't find that new letter. Lentz mom says that she will send me the next one. I thought I had is saved in my computer and now it won't open up. The littles like to look at the photos we took of them with you. I say where's uncle and they point to you in the pictures.

Do you have to where your gear all the time because of the incoming? Bin Laden released another video this week telling the muslim countries that they should be spending money on their people instead of their militaries. Because of the flooding in Pakistan. The news said that they are varifying the tape like they always say.

I'm watching the Flintstone's, their awesome. I keep dosing off.

Fri, 1 Oct 2010 01:02:40

thats amazing that he can whistle i wonder how he learned how to do it and ohh jeez i was hoping he wouldnt be too bad at the temper tantrums he was soo good hahaha

what can ya expect from the terrible twos tho hopefully he will have passed most of it when i get to come back around or at least me and bear will be just fine hahahaha
i still look at the pictures of them on that camera that you gave me
i love the ones where bear is just being a goof and then there is one where cubby is looking like he is about to cry
its awesome then i go through in order bear getting attacked by the dogs hahaha

i miss them all

well we have been taking alot of incoming and such but other than that nothing realy i have just been watching movies since i cant really do anything else and my scar is still a bit tender
but im getting better... i can at least walk normal now..
played hackey sack yesterday when we had to go into an empty concrete building for cover
got kinda sore from it but it was fun
hackey is kinda rehabilitating hahaha
well yeah send me the link to that news letter thing please..
love and miss ya

Fav, i just got to work and was sitting her in my car looking at the trees. the huge walnut tree by the front pool has started to loose it's leaves a little at a time and if i look carefully at the leaves i can see a few patches of yellow leaves. this morning the temperature is 55 degrees, today is susposed to be warm, they say in the 80's its kind of sad that summer has come to a close, i dont look forward to the winter at all. it last too long. i guess i can pollyanna it and say it just means time is passing by and bringing it closer to the time when you come back home. i love and miss you, mom xoxoxox

9/29/2010 8:00:20 AM

and wow thats kinda funny about jimmy i wonder what was going on and such
and judd hmm yeah thats not anyone i know but yeah jimmy i guess has been partying alot and i dont blame you for not wanting to clean up their mess

it was really nice to be able to talk to you again i liked it i just dont call that often because i run out of things to talk about and all thats why i like the email thing so much more cuz then a phone convo can last about a week and all and it was really nice to be able to talk to andy again
i miss hanging out with that dude

yeah i remember you telling me about the foam in the last eamil or so
but thats cool just kinda shutting yourself into an artificial darkness i guess
but it should keep it cooler although you did it kinda late since summer has already gone and passed
