Dear Mom,

Well today was a lil better. Got to talking with one of my buddies and yeah we kinda just kept each other motivated. I went to the simulator today and we practiced with pop-up targets. I did pretty good. I didn’t miss any of the 300 meter targets. And the sight might have been a lil off because I missed a 75 meter one and about 175 meters away. But I seem to do better when it is with live rounds. I dk if I’m going to be getting any mail from you today and I still haven’t gotten that package from you yet. Make me wonder if I am even going to get it. Once again I’m hearing that I am guaranteed some time off after all this training. But since I can’t see it in writing that I’m not going to ask you to try and reserve something for me just yet. If I’m even going to reserve anything. I just hope my ticket isn’t too terribly much and that maybe I can get a military discount. I’m probably going to wear my camo’s anyways. Well I was right, no mail from you today. Ironically no mail for anyone which I don’t think is right. I think the DS just doesn’t want to get it for us. Which seems kinda illegal. Funny thing. I got my LES (kinda like a paystub) and I have 2.5 days of leave built up so far. Haha. I miss ya Madre. I hope everything is good. I might be able to go to the PX again and if I do then I’m going to call you again fer sure. And I hope you aren’t going to be doing anything this time. So ya know how I told you I got a LES well some people already have a duty station assigned. Like the other Smith. Quincy, he found out that he is going to FT Stewart in Savanna GA. And other people found out that they are going to FT Bliss near El Paso TX. I’m still unassigned tho. Which means I still have the possibility of getting a nice duty station. Some even think that it could mean we have a high chance of going to a station overseas. Which would be way cool. Woo Hoo I just got my mail and I got a letter from you and the package. Thank you so much. I’m sorry work is bothering you but I don’t think you should switch career just yet until you can make a career with your dogs. But of course you know that any job can’t always be great and a leader/supervisor will do what he can do to better himself or the work. Sometimes that includes making excuses for mistakes that he made or found. But you and Joseph all the time can have a laugh and I have seen it. It would probably be way better if I was there working tho J Then me and Joseph could mess around and me and you can talk. But congrats for Mike. Tell him I’m happy for him. And maybe you should go with him when he gets a car. I mean I can’t say much because I’m going to be getting a Subaru too. But it is gonna be like a 90 or 88 at the least. But I’m also getting a new engine for it when I can. But good for him. Hopefully he starts getting he act right or I’m going to Army kick his ass. Its about time for all that BS to stop in his life. Start being more responsible. Use his brain to think and not his testosterone. Ann needs to stop messing with his head and tell him the truth about the kids. If she even knows. Damn.
