Hey yeah I used my first call at training to give my mom the address so I could get mail sooner. Its funny I got my first set of mail yesterday and one of my moms letters I got (there were 5 yesterday and one today) said that I would get a letter from you real soon and BOOM next day I have one from you. Ummm to answer your Mikes question no I didn't cut my hair because they will make me pay to get one even if I was bald so yeah thought it was pointless. But about the helmet liner I would hold off on sending it just cuz Im not really allowed any personal things and I don't wanna risk having them throw it away. But I can get it when I get to my duty station or if I get time to come home after training. But yea your skiddish dog reminds me of moms Sadie when she first rescued her. She was way skiddish especially towards males. But she got better and she loves me now. I missed the clark county fair by 4 days which kinda mad me mad. But oh well. The weather here is pretty hot but its the humididty that is getting to me. But I'm starting to slowly adapt. The weather has been changing due to the tropical storms so its not all bad. That swapping thing sounds like it was fun. Yeah the economy was pretty harsh when I left so yeah I can imagine. Thats mainly why I joined. Just cuz things were getting pretty tough. Im sorry to hear about Scott and Devins anniversary thing. Mike might be getting a job for the postal service but I haven't gotten the fer sure on that yet. I know he wants long haul. Yes PV2 means that I am Private 2nd class. I got a promotion before I came to basic training. And I will prolly get promoted when I graduate. Im gonna try to at least get corpral in the next two years or before Im done with the army. But thats at least. I welcome any promotions. Training ain't nothing. Tough but I expected that. At the moment we are training on combatives. Did the gas chamber last week. I volunteered to go in again and I did it with out a mask. Pretty much laughing the whole time. I have my gear and rifle. Tell your Michael they switched to the M4, thats what I have. Next I think we are doing medical training. But, I'm tired and its almost lights out. I had a ruck march this morning.
