Dear Mom,

Well I got your letter today and one from Tammy too. That’s good to hear that my nigga home dog got some more play with that fresh tail. J and that Mike got that job. I hope everything works out for him. I know. I remember September being the start of a tough month or two usually for work but you always seem to pull through it. And eventually you will be living your dream on a nice piece of property with like 60 dogs. Haha. Not working around stupid lame people. The weather here is kinda starting to cool down. And by that I mean 85`-87`. We had a memorial thing kinda for 9-11. it was first thing in the morning. Watched the flag go to half mast. Made me wonder if my Madre was doing the same thing this morning on the West Coast. Gah I miss Sadie. She really is in a competition for my fav with Fritz. Fritz is loads of personality tho and friendly and just way too funny. But Sadie is kick back relax and love me type and I love that. She will just lay with me and follow me around and stuff. I think I might take her in time. Well guess what? I found out my duty station. Well the most likely duty station unless they change it last minute. But yeah I’m going to be going to Ft Campbell Kentucky. Where I will be assigned to the 101st Air Assault aka the Screaming Eagles. That means I will be jumping well more like repelling out of helicopters. The movie We Were Soldiers is pretty much the early version of that but yup. That’s what’s going down. Unfortunately Quincy is going to Ft Stewart GA. But my other friend Razor, the one who I have been discussing Islam with, and is really cool, he is going to Ft Campbell as well. So that’s going to be nice. Plus my friend from Oregon that I came here with is coming also. So yay. I guess. Kentucky isn’t too southern and I don’t think it’s too bad. I’m probably just more glad that I know where I’m going and what I’m doing. Other that that nothing is new. That concert is supposed to be tomorrow. And I do pre-qualifications and qualifications next week. I think its Monday or Tuesday. So that’s nice that I have been able to get all that out of the way. Then I move onto bigger and better things and guns. So an interesting thing. I have started reading the Qua-ran (Koran) just for fun. Some interesting things. I’m not planning on converting or anything. Just building knowledge. Ya know. Well I miss you lots and hope to get another letter from ya soon.
