September 30, 2009

Dear Jeremiah,

I’m sitting in a square piece of sun shine. I thought that I would take advantage of this little patch of sun. It has been mostly cloudy today with tiny bits of sun. I’m sitting on the floor of R106, that’s where I found the sun. sometimes the edges of my sun square fade out and disappear as clouds move passed the sun and defuse it’s strength. It is definitely cooler again today. I really should start remembering to wear or at least bring my jacket. Mike is still feeling sick. Last night when I got home both boys were up while he was sleeping. So I changed diapers and made up a bottle, woke Mike up and laid BooBoo next to him. Took Bear to the kitchen and heated up some Raviolis for him. He has a booster chair with a tray attached that we strapped to the red chair. The tray is at a perfect height for food stealing dogs. They are opportunists, ya know. They will hang around with tails wagging just in case there is the slightest chance of getting a nibble. Man, I love my dogs. I spend more time with them that I do any one person. The hardly ever complain or bug me for money. =) Aah! My square is moving up the wall! I just made a mortgage payment. Today is payday. Good bye money. So long see ya. Lol. So it’s Wednesday, no mail from you yesterday cause of the weekend. So I could have something today. If you had a chance to write me Sunday. We’ll see. You know I had a letter from you everyday last week except for Sunday and Tuesday. That’s awesome. I swear I had more conversation with you than I had with people I live with. Haha. Today is the last day of the month and I already got 3 turns done for next month and 2 other apartments where I have lists of parts I need, so all I gotta do is stop by the shop. Grab stuff and go. I gotta go back to one unit and put the door knobs back on. Dylan forgot to do it before he left for his vacation. I guess. The sun isn’t doing so great on keeping the square going. It shines a bit and warms me up, then fades and I feel cold again. Dick and sandy are moving today. They have been here for 12 years. I’m going to miss them. Now after I go thru their place, there will be only three units left that I have never turned in the eleven years that I’ve been working here. Some units I have turned over and over. Like blinds. Any one with cats or young kids in their apartment usually means I’ll be replacing them when they move out. I keep replaying Taxi Driver in my head today. I always think it is interesting how directors use the same actors over and over in their films. John Ford used to do it. You have the same cast just with different names playing the same people. I mean seriously, John Wayne was the same guy in all his movies, but I guess that’s why he was so popular. I’m gonna go over to G&G’s tonight after work to visit them. I guess they are planning on taking Aunt Vicky to Yakima this coming weekend. So I’ll be on Cat Duty. I should be up the new lights that go on either side of the garage door. These ones are automatic so they don’t have to worry about having them on or off. Grandma’s eyes are getting pretty bad for reading. You may need to start writing even bigger than you do already. I was gonna tell you awhile back to write big for her but you did it on your own. Sometimes you write me so small that I have to read the whole sentence a couple times to figure out what you said. Haha. That’s okay tho. The smaller you write the more room you have on your page to write. I laughed when you wrote about getting in your locker to write. I would do the same. I got some different color paper to write on, pink and purple. I was hoping to find green. Oh well. You should be getting the stamps I sent you about now. Well I better get back to work. I love ya and miss ya too.

Love Mom
