So yesterday I got all busy and such so I couldn’t finish writing you. Hopefully today is a lot calmer. I came to work early again. Wes had another appointment that would have made me really late. Its now 9am and I’ve been at work for 3 hours. Last night Fritz and I went back to Lulus and they got stuck after only being there for 15 minutes. So we all just hung around chatting about dogs and puppies and what to expect and we calculated when puppies will be born and when they will be ready to go home and general stuff like that. So we waited and waited and waited for them to do their thing and release. They stayed stuck for over an hour and a half! Lol. The longest that Fritz had ever been stuck before was about 40 minutes. It was funny. So anyways we are returning again for a second round. I’m gonna use Fritz’s money to purchase a dog bath tub and install it in the downstairs bathroom where the sink is. It will be an easy install there because there’s lots of room and hot and cold water, and the drain are all easily accessable. I need to decide what to do about the floor. I think I’ll just buy the cheapest laminated flooring and drop it in place. I’m also going to get 4’ X 8’ sheets of that wall paneling that you see in public restrooms and line the lower half of the walls with it. It’s okay stuff and will keep the puppies from chewing through the sheet rock. It also has the added benefit of being easy to clean. J. Tomorrow Jack and sam are going home at 10am. Then I’m driving Wes to Fran’s, we may stop at shirley’s on the way back. It’ll give Wes a chance to stop and stretch his legs. I’m thinking about taking my scissors with me and giving jolly and Gretel hair cuts. On Sunday, I’m driving to Yakima to meet a couple from Spokane to deliver their little boy Kaslo. The fourth puppy goes home on the 11th and the rest go home on the 19th. Two more weeks and I’ll be out of puppies. It will seem very odd. We will have had puppies for 9 ½ months. It will be nice to have a break from all the care involved and be able to get caught up on all the stuff that has been neglected since last December. That’s for sure. I got a letter from you that you wrote last weekend last night. You sound like your doing pretty well and maybe by the time you get this letter from me, you will have moved on to the next phase of your training. I really don’t think that I will send you any treats, I don’t think that you would want to cause any problems anyways that would make you stand out in a negative way. Much better to stand out because your fast or have a great attitude or your reliable when given a task to complete and you follow threw on it. I really think that it is pretty cool that you and smith have become friends and can do stuff together that keeps you out of trouble J or keeps you busy. It’s much better to have the support that having a buddy offers then keeping to yourself. Its always better to gravitate towards those people who have the same mind set that you do. It make it easier to accomplish your goals. Also you can reap benefits of having a married friend in the Army because even if you get stuck in a dorm in the future. If you have a married friend to hang out with, you will still get to experience some regular family style living. Which is pretty good. You also get a chance to meet more people that way. The more friends you have, the bigger your support network. Well I had better get to work. As always I miss you and miss being able to talk with you and share with you whatever is going on in my life. Be good, stay out of trouble. Keep your head down and your ears open. I love you and think your pretty great. Keep your feet dry and use medicated powder on them so you don’t get foot rot.
Love mom.
