From Mom, September 21, 2009 pt 2

September 21, 2009

Dear favorite one.

So I’m continuing from this morning. This may come after the other one because I got the other to the office before the mail got picked up and put it with the letter I wrote yesterday. Mike just texted me about Wes not cleaning up after himself when Mike stayed up last night cleaning up the kitchen. Sound familiar? Yesterday Nicole got Mike and Bear and they all went to Portland for some kind of attempt to break a record for having a bunch of pirates in one place at one time. Must have looked funny, a bunch of pirates. Maybe like never, never land. J. The apartment I just moved my tools into reeks of cat piss. And I just discovered that it has FLEAS! Nice people. So now I’m outside sitting on my cart, plucking fleas. Just great and dandy. You know we used to charge everyone who had a pet automatically for a flea treatment. Makes sense right? That way there’s no little surprises when the next people move in. We had one time, a lady moved into a unit and move back out the next day because of fleas. You know especially how bad it is, you have what I call sweet blood. Scott had it and Joe also. You guys seem to attract fleas more than most people. But the new company, Guardian doesn’t seem to understand the automatic treatment. And they won’t let us charge the resident when the move out. A lot of times you wouldn’t even know there’s fleas for a couple of weeks of the unit being vacant, you can’t charge them then. So since I think they’re idiots, I won’t report fleas. Damn I’m still getting bit! They don’t listen to me or Joseph anyways and think they know everything. So fine let them deal with it. I got to go back there tomorrow so I’ll just spray my feet and lower legs with repelant. I will go to the office though and share. Hehehe. I want them to be able to “feel” what a resident is going thru. I just talked to Mike and I guess he is going to an orientation for Swift Transportation Oct 6. so maybe he will be working soon. This will be long haul instead of local. He’ll figure it out and make a plan for child care and such. Well I’ll write more tomorrow.

Love Mom
