Dear Jeremiah,

Well I got a nice long letter from you that you wrote over the weekend just like I thought I would. I am feeling better today. Last night when I got home I was all stuffed up and every once in awhile my nose would run like it had water in it. So you asked for advise about your scheme to get married and here it is. DON”T DO IT. Seriously. First of all you would be just using the “random girl” for your own benefit. I mean come on. How selfish is that? At first maybe someone would go for it. But after awhile she would reset the plan. I really don’t think you could live with someone like you were doing before with that girl from Fatty Patty’s without there being some emotion involved. Maybe the girl would expect after time that you would “fall in love” with her and then she would be set and not have to work cause you’re taking care of her. Or she may try to trap you by getting pregnant. Case in point “Mike”. I’m not against you getting married or anything. But I don’t think it is something that should be rushed in to either. It’s better to get to know and understand where that person is coming from. Little quirks someone has at first may seem unimportant at first, but as time progressives can one day become something that is fought about. What if you’re married to this random chick and you find your soul mate? How would your explain Miss Random? You couldn’t use your reasoning about getting better benefits. Haven’t you ever heard of jealously? No woman is going to just understand. Let me say that again. No woman is just going to understand. All your plan would do is complicate your life so you would have a harder time focusing on your work. You know as well as I do that you will be deploy overseas. So right now you need to be focused solely on your training to get the most benefit from it. So fucking what that you have to sleep in barracks or share a dorm room with some guy(s). Get the fuck over it. Or find ways where you can be away for a little bit of time. Who knows you may room with someone like Smith or Razor. There are more guys like you out there than not. So anyways. I was on the Ft. Campbell site last night. There are four brigades in the 101st Division. It looks like they are on some 2 year cycle or they are being deployed every 2 years. They got for 12 to 18 months then return to Ft Campbell for rest and more training. I don’t really see much more about that part. And the website doesn’t really say if any are currently deployed. I imagine that since it is such a specialize group that there is more training involved than if your were in the regular infantry. They don’t just pick regular Joes to be the 101st. So I made the mistake of asking Scarecrow how he’s weekend was and he starting crying. So I’m thinking GREAT. So I asked him what was up. Apparently his girlfriend moved out all of a suddenly like and he’s all broken up about it. Are you sure about marriage? It is so emotional especially when your young. When you’re older it’s more like whatever. Levi moved out and broke up with Rochelle. He’s back in the garage. Shirley’s pissed at him. I mean come on. His kid is like due in a month. Douche bag is what Mike said. Rochelle has been on meds to keep her from going into labor for more than a month. She’s probably is emotionally strung out from Levi taking off, hormones and worrying about having their baby too soon. Well it’s the end of the day so I’m gonna cut this short. I love you. Hope I have another letter from you today. Miss ya.
